The Shudder Club is an industrial band formed by Greg Danger and his twin brother Tim in 2004. Starting out as an Electro band the 'Club played several shows with acts like The Mercy Cage and an opening slot for EBM pioneers Nitzer Ebb.

Conception:
Early recordings of The 'Club show a more electro/experimental sound, drawing heavily on influences from bands like Skinny Puppy and early KMFDM. As Time went on however the band's sound evolved into a more accessible sound, with Greg turning in a more industrial rock direction, not long after playing a support slot for the Nitzer Ebb "muscle and hate" tour in november 2006 The Shudder Club went on hiatus.

Reincarnation:
Four years after it's initial conception, The Shudder Club reformed with a new sound, a new line up, and a new approach to music all together.

Joining the fold are Nigel "Bruiser" Brookes and Roxy Riot, providing Rhythm and lead guitars respectively. While still remaining true to their industrial roots, The 'Club's new material draws on a set of markedly dissimilar influences from all across the board, from blues to black metal, if it's sleazy or evil, they probably love it. The new sound has also been more of a challenge to Greg, as he has had to learn to work together and play nice with other musicians to develop the songs, instead of just programming and sequencing it all up himself like the early days.

Current:
At present The 'Club are writing and recording for their upcoming EP with an almost religious fervour, featuring a guest appearance of Ivan De Prume of White Zombie fame on drums, The Shudder Club are on the verge of releasing something that won't just kick you in the teeth when you listen to it, but it won't stop kicking until you bow down and offer your life to the gods of good ol' fashion curb stompin' flag burnin' rock'n'roll.
